Ajax Harwood plaza to be torn down

AJAX -- The Town has announced a major redevelopment plan for the Ajax Plaza on Harwood Avenue.
The ambitious redevelopment of the plaza will include more than 65,000 square feet of office and retail space, along with about 380 residential units.
The plaza was built in the early 1950s to serve a community of 25,000.
The $120-million project will be built by Windcorp Developments and will be constructed in four phases. The first two phases will include retail, office and residential space. The other two phases will be developed in the future.
