Oshawa`s premier festival, Canada Day, plays host to over 50,000 residents and visitors every year. The activities and entertainment are top-notch and this year will prove to be the best that Oshawa has to offer. Live, local entertainment, carnival, family zone, historical village and spectacular fireworks will provide something sure to please everyone in the family!

Canada Day in Oshawa!


Whitby County Town Carnival, Canada Day and Fireworks

 Come and celebrate Canada Day with the Town of Whitby at Victoria Fields, 345 Watson Road.  Free children's activities, live entertainment, petting zoo and jumping castles.  Parking is available at Iroquois Park Sports Centre and Whitby Go Station.  Don't miss Community Connection fireworks at dark.

Come Celebrate Canada’s 145th birthday at the Town’s annual Canada Day Celebrations. This free event includes many activities for the entire family:

  • Bowmanville Zoo to You live animal shows at 11:30am, 1:30pm, and 3:30pm
  • Official greetings and Celebration Cake at 12pm
  • Live entertainment all day long
  • Inflatable rides
  • Food and beverages available
  • Pony rides and petting zoo
  • Camel rides - $3.00 per person
  • Arts and crafts for children
  • Community Corner showcasing community groups and organizations

It's an Explosion of Free Fun for Canada Day at Kinsmen Park!

Live entertainment, bouncers, rides, games & prizes, free teen stuff, seniors' afternoon tea, community party, refreshment area. Celebrating the Queens Jubilee.

Main Stage Entertainment starts at 7 pm,with Union Spring, Retro Circuit and feature performer Suzie McNeil! The night ends with a bang, don't miss Pickering's annual pyromusical fireworks show!


Free transit from OPG (777 and 889 Brock Road South), from 12 noon to fireworks.
